Mary Ann Guidroz
Westwego, Louisiana

In her interview Mary Ann expressed to us that she was hit hard by the oil spill and when asked what kind of help she needed and what she wanted people to know she was very specific: In spite of oil spill she is still able to sell fresh, untainted seafood. She wanted people to know - please come on down because she is open for business.  We met Mary Ann as we were
making our way down to Venice, Louisiana when we decided to pull off the side of the rode to check out a nearly-deserted seafood lot. Mary Ann is one of several purveyors we met in the lot which is known far and wide as the "Shrimp Lot."
