Mr. Verdin, United Houma Nation
Pointe au Chien, Louisiana
Mr. Verdin was a very gentle soft spoken man and spoke to us briefly about the oil spill. What he did say was simple and powerful. He can't fish and his livelihood is threatened. We met Mr. Verdin at a meeting held by the Department of Commerce to hear from minority fishermen groups about the oil spill.
