Michael, St. Claude Community Hardware and Home Improvement
New Orleans, Louisiana
Michael was an incredibly warm, kind-hearted gentleman whose accent gave away his Islands heritage. He explained from his wheelchair how some days the store only makes about $25 instead of the hundreds of dollars it used to make as a result of the oil spill. We met Michael as we were driving through the still-devastated Ninth Ward towards Hopedale.
